Ok- it's Christmas!!

Ok-since I was going to start blogging about three months ago and have not written anything since-her is the second try! LOL
So with Christmas just a few days around the corner, I feel like I should start writing on this blog again.
What a wonderful day I had today. It started amazingly great with a wonderful sacrament meeting about the Savior. He has played a huge role in my life lately as my world has somewhat been turned upside down.
As I sat there in the meeting, I was truly touched by the wonderful music and words spoken about the Savior. Each of us has a different reason for needing Him in our lives, and yet we all DO need him, no matter where we are in our lives or who we are. He is always there.
One talk especially touched me. He spoke about the Savior's birth which we celebrate, but he also talked about Christ's birth in each one of our lives. Just like a real birth, it may be quick, but more likely it will be long and sometimes difficult. But we need Him to be 'born' into our lives. We need His love, we need to sacrifice the useless things in our lives so that He can be born and grow more fully in each of us. I hope that I may let Him in more fully into my life.

I am grateful for this wonderful time of year. So many wonderful feelings come over me. Love, patience, charity, kindness. I pray that I may continue to exhibit these throughout the rest of the year.
I know that I have now turned my blog into a church talk, but blogs are for you to express what you know for that day. I know that I am grateful for all that I have. May each of you have a WONDERFUL Christmas!

My first day of Blogging

Well I was never going to start a blog, because I never had any time to do it. Let alone read all of everyone else's blogs. But lately I seem to have a bit more time on my hands, so I have been roped into doing it.

Since I am extremely new in the blogging world- I hope you will all have patience with me and just read what i have to say even if it gets boring.
